Baptism/First Communions

Being a Catholic involves many things.... including Baptisms and First Holy Communions!

A few days ago some friends of ours, the Lathwell family, had their new baby boy, Anthony Thomas James, Baptized into the Catholic faith!
Also... their other son, 7 year old Zachery, received the Holy Eucharist for the first time ever! WEE!!!!!!

(My 7 year old brother, Joey, also received his first Communion, so we celebrated them all at the same time! xoxoxo

Here are some photos of the Baptism/Communions ~

  6. Yes, thanks for sharing the photos. One of the things I noticed are the banners at the end of the pews for Joey's first communion. I never mention it in my post about Superstar and Web-Princess first communions, but both kids made their own banners to hang at the end of the family's pew.

I have them hanging up on the wall above my computer. Web-princess is pink background with an alter, tabernacle, cup and host on it. Superstar's is green background with an alter, priest, a cup and host on it.

When I seen your banners I thought that was so cool to know that there are other parishes even as far away as PA that does the same thing! (Or at least very similar).

Well thanks for the sharing the pictures and congrats to Joey again!
