Thinking...

I was thinking...
I was thinking about God. How much he loves me...how lucky I am to know Him...
I was thinking...and then it hit me.

God loves EVERYONE equally. I know we learn that when we're, like, 5...but I never really thought about it deeply before.
I didn't fully realize that God loves/loved President Obama, Lady GaGa, Ke$ha, Hitler, Michael Jackson, the person who invented birth control, Terrorists, Tiger Woods, and SO many more...
God loves and knows every one of those people perfectly. He cares about them and wants them to be with Him in the next world just as much as He does me or you.
Did you ever think about that?
I didn't.
And when I DID I was just like........"WOW".

New Carpets!!!

So...
We recently ripped up the entire carpet upstairs and put in a new one (I LOVE it!!!). We (meaning my dad :) also repainted everything.My room is now Easter Green. ~ xo

OH...MY...GOSH!

It's 81 Degrees outside!
Yes! I'm totally being serious!


Here's what happened:
I was typing up a report for school today, and I noticed I was sweating. Like, when your cheeks get really hot and you feel giddy.
I went downstairs and I saw that the back door was open. I asked out loud: "Why the heck is it so hot in here!?" And my little 10 year old sister, Mary Helen, who happened to be passing by, answered without looking up "It's 80 degrees outside".
Obviously, I was about to laugh in complete mockery "Tuh-ha! Yeah right!"...but before I opened my mouth, Mary said quite factually and casually "look at the thermometer..."
 I squinted at our outdoor thermometer on our front porch and..."Oh my, oh my, oh my!!!!" 


(..............I'm still sweating....LOVE IT!!!)

When to Wear White

I've heard so many statements about when one should be allowed to wear white again during the new year. As in...after winter, spring is on the way...'yatayatayata'

I've already worn a simple white T'...but that's not really worthy of much attention.
Some say The Fourth of July is the right time to bring out the white. Others...Easter. Others...the first day of SPRING. And still others have told me it would be exceptional to where white just as soon as New Years Day had past. Which do I go with???

Obviously, it's a little past New Years...and Easter is on the way. Spring is pretty much here. So, should I just start wearing white again now...or would it be more normal for me to just wait until Summer time? ;)

Sunshine

Finally.
After all my waiting.
All my hoping.
All my daydreaming...

WE HAVE SUNSHINE!

It was in the 70's today and the sky wasn't fogged up with rainclouds! It was actually BLUE! Bright blue!
I hope it stays like this till' next Winter.
It's so weird though...last night we had sleet, thunder and lightning (to the extreme), but this morning it felt like Easter outside (whatever that means... ;) !

Summer is on the way, I can feel it. Seriously...I always get this strange feeling in my gut whenever the sun is about to shine. Freaky I know. (The weather channel helps too though...heh-heh)

Almost time for flowers, Flip-Flops and butterflies. Keep it up, Sun! I'm with ya' all the way!
