My Mom and I have watched a full length movie on this same subject, but this specific one was no less heart-rending for me.

We live our lives, every day, the same as we have always done...we wake up, eat breakfast, do our schoolwork, and complete everything else that's scheduled into our lives...and we have no idea about the horrors that other nations, other people, are going through day after day...year after year....or...we just don't care.

This movie can make people care. It can force them to go outside their own comfortable everyday lives and give something back to the rest of the world; a world that needs every prayer and every form of support that we are able to give. 

When I watched this video myself, I was moved in several ways...

one...I was stabbed with sadness. 

two...I was filled with anger

three...I immediately wanted to help in any way I could

I felt sorry for, not only the children and families of this horror-stricken country...but also for Joseph Kony, the man striking this horror. What entered his heart and made it so heartless? How awful was his own childhood that he would grow up to be the #1 most wanted criminal in our nation?

What about these children? They must hopelessly wonder day and night what kind of life would be so pointlessly hateful that they can't even go to sleep and have the common assurance that they will actually wake up in the morning...or that one of their siblings won't be missing...or that their parents will still be physically intact. They must wonder what kind of God would exist and let this happen to them for over 20 years...  

These people need help. If one evil man, a man such as Joseph Kony, can make this huge of a indescribable difference all over his country...then thousands of Americans today...and people all over the world...can make a difference too.

We can stop him...YOU can stop Joseph Kony.

I heard that there's actually going to be two parts to the Hobbit. The first is "The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey"....the second; "The Hobbit - There and back Again". Obviously, despite my superhuman cyberspace tracking skills, I haven't found a trailer for the second one yet. :)
The casting is just perfect. A self-evident truth/fact.
I love the costumes! Gold chains, leather, fur, its all so realistic to my imagination!!!!
And get this, they've actually BUILT REAL HOBBIT HOUSES in NewZealand for this movie! Real stone, wood, paint, door with one doorknob, the works! (Said they intend to leave it there after the movies are finished for the public to enjoy!!!!! AAAHHH! So COOL!

This Year's Game

That game last night was AWESOME! 21-17! What competition!
GO GIANTS!!! 
Eli Manning was totally amazing the entire time (save one short pass), especially at the very end of the last quarter.
I loved how when the Giants scored their last and winning touchdown, the player (# 44 ) actually took the time to turn and sat down in the endzone!!! LOL! Awesome! >>>




And how about that catch??!!!Phenomenal!!! That's going down through foot-ball history! >>>



Anyway, that was probably one of the best Super-Bowls I've ever watched......even if the Steelers didn't make it there this year....... (See? I can be a good looser :)

Character Review/Macgyver TV Show

My brother (Jake) and I have been watching this old TV show on our Netflix called "Macgyver". Ever heard of it?
He's the guy that can make anything out of basically anything he wants...bombs out of duck-tape and soda cans...a glider out of bamboo and trash bags...you name it. He even uses bubblegum and paperclips...anything you can possibly think of that you would never use in a bad situation...well...that's what Macgyver is most fond of. Lol :)

Anyway, even though Mac is pretty cool with his strange maneuvers, I have to admit I have a different character on my "favorites" list. As you all know my favorite character is almost always "the bad guy". (Don't ask me why that is...I don't really know.) LOL

His name is MURDOC.

A professional killer/assassin/terrorist who only turns up in 9 out of 100 or so episodes but is awesomely amazing nonetheless. Heh-heh

I guess you can say Murdoc and I have quite a bit common in some ways...

He always pops up again no matter how many times he get "killed"...he loves heavy artillery such as dynamite, flame-throwers and bazookas...he is extremely clever and hilariously witty...he loves black leather.................................and he definitely knows how to kick some butt. LOL "wink-wink" ;);)

Murdoc also gets a childish joy out of playing pranks, scaring, and setting complicated obstacles/traps for his 'victims'. All of which are ingenious and incredibly mind blowing.
Plus, his disguises totally blow the mind. He can change his voice (and appearance) to that of a woman's and his stature to an old man without you even knowing it! AWESOME!!!
Murdoc's calling card is taking photos of his victims at the moment of there death or of his traps and/or signs he leaves behind.
Murdoc is a skilled pianist as well as poet.

(The "Macgyver" episodes are almost all "Family-Friendly", although some of them you may not want your 4 year old siblings to watch. You just have to read the excerpt at the bottom of each one :)
My brothers and sisters have been especially fond of Macgyver these past weeks. Whenever they get a school recess/break for TV that's what they'll usually put on. "Chuckle"..........I don't blame them...it's pretty cool (Even if it is a widdal' cheesy...LOL :):):)
