Yes! I'm totally being serious!
Here's what happened:
I was typing up a report for school today, and I noticed I was sweating. Like, when your cheeks get really hot and you feel giddy.
I went downstairs and I saw that the back door was open. I asked out loud: "Why the heck is it so hot in here!?" And my little 10 year old sister, Mary Helen, who happened to be passing by, answered without looking up "It's 80 degrees outside".
Obviously, I was about to laugh in complete mockery "Tuh-ha! Yeah right!"...but before I opened my mouth, Mary said quite factually and casually "look at the thermometer..."
I squinted at our outdoor thermometer on our front porch and..."Oh my, oh my, oh my!!!!"
(..............I'm still sweating....LOVE IT!!!)
