Almost Done...
I'm going to be finishing 11th grade by Sunday...
yyyep...
(The reason I'm getting done so early is because I went ahead in my school planner and did two weeks of school every week instead of just one.)
Once I finish 11th grade, my plan is to get a permit and a part-time job, start 12th grade 'asap', keep up with it over the Summer (doing two weeks a week), graduate in July or August, get my license, and then get a full-time job and begin to REALLY draw the blue-print for my life.
Pretty simple, right?
....HECK NO! I'm scared to death! Lol ;)
I don't think college is in my future (in case you're wondering). What I want is to use my talents (art, writing, etc') in ways that do not require a degree, and that share them with other people for pleasure more than just for money$$$.
Of course I hope to make a fair amount of moo-la in whatever my "calling" turns out to be ("heh-heh")... but I feel like my life is supposed to be drawn out in ways that give off more good to other people than just to myself.
......My thoughts anyway. :)
I also don't want to have to pay for and live in a specific place for a number of years when I can just use and share my talents for free right where I am... and still make a living off of it.
High-school is almost over for me.
Gees-oh-man...that's a creepy thought... !!!
I remember how I used to play "teen-age-er" when I was six or seven years old; pretending what I would be and how I would act once I reached the age of fifteen or up. Well...my 17th birthday is in July..................... kinda' wish I could play "kinder-garten" all over again... :)

It is a joy and blessing to watch you grow closer to the Lord and strive to reach your fullest potential as His loving daughter. And, I am confident, that, as long as you keep your heart open to His will, you will know just where He is leading you and what you are to do...to make a living, to give to others, and to find true joy and peace in your beautiful, wonderful, challenging, extraordinary-ordinary life!

Praying for you, Laura!! That sounds wonderful, and I am glad you are hopeful and ambitious as well! I do not feel that college is going to be the path for me, I think that God wants me sooner rather than later and I am willing to let Him have me! :)
DeleteUmmmmm Laura? I dislike this. A lot.
