SOMEONE SPECIAl:

There is someone I know, who has been my best friend for quite a long time.
Her name , is Callie. She is 14 years old and has five other siblings. She has recently moved to Washington (state) (SADLY!!!) with the rest of her wonderful family (of course! Lol)

Callie is :

Exciting,
Loyal,
Kind,
Joyful,
Fun,
Smart,

and MANY other things (but there are SO many that I can't write them all down! LOL)

I have known Callie for more than 6 years ... And we are still BEST friends even though we are far apart. To make up for the time we can't SEE each other we usually: Talk on the phone, e-mail, and write letters.

Callie is one of the best people I have ever met in life. She is ALWAYS there when I need her, she never leaves me to face something alone, she cheers me up when I'm sad and she helps me make decisions when I ask her for advice.

Thanks for always being my BFF, Callie!

New Year Resolution:

I can hardly believe that it's 2010 now!
Time sure does fly! Seeing as it is a new year it is also what I like to call a "New Beginning"
This year... take the time to form yourself a "New Years Resolution"

(A list of goals and/or accomplishments that you want to meet during the year to come)

I find this a helpful ... and FUN thing to do with my free time! Keep in mind it does not have to be a LONG list of things you want to do.

Here is my own little "New Years Resolution" :

1.) I, Laura, promise to try and be more patient with my siblings during the year of 2010 and try to hold my temper when things get a little ... ruff (ha!)

2.) I, Laura, will from now on look to the bright side of things always before I turn to examine the 'dark' side and will also try never to mechanically take things the wrong way.

3.) I, Laura, will always (try to) eat DINNER before DESERT from now on! (ha ha ha!)

4.) I, Laura, promise to do my schoolwork with a thankful heart and try to see it with an enjoyable point of view.

5.) I, Laura, will try to be more active and use my imagination more often.

6.) I, Laura, shall keep my room more tidy and clean things up when I see a mess.

HELLO!

Hello!

It is VERY cold here ... at least 20 degrees! Wow!!!!
The snow has turned to a large sheet of ice and it is quite difficult to walk ... especially when I take our two dogs out to their field in the morning! COLD! ha ha!

Other then the freezing weather ... my life has been going on well (LOL)
Our Christmas was very exciting this year! Benny (little brother age 2) was soooooooo happy to see all those gifts under the tree!

I hope to get some photos on here as soon as I can)
