Soccer

Jake and I missed our first soccer practice. :(
The next one is on Friday at 7pm....wow. Pretty late to be kicking a ball around.
I can't believe it's almost time to start all the running, kicking, sliding and bleeding again. Last year I stunk....but that's "ok". I'll do better this year because now I know what to expect. Jake will most likely (if not absolutely) be put on offense. I like defense better though and that's where I play best.

Anyway...wish us luck on Friday :)

My Sweet 16

My birthday went...totally AWESOME! Dinner was delicious and dessert was amazing! :):):):)
My gifts were very thoughtful and fun...I even got gummy worms! "YUM!"
I can't believe I'm 16! I remember when I was around the age of 6 all the way till' I was about 12 I would pretend that my barbies or myself was the "grown up age" of "16"...and I can't pretend that anymore. I'm kindof' sad but excited at the same....

BIG Bummer

A few nights ago, Jake and I were almost done with the Robin-Hood episodes we were watching....just 1 and a half away from the end. It was getting late so we had to go to bed and I said "we'll just finish it tomorrow night".
Well...the next night...I picked up the Wii remote....logged into Netflix and searched for the Robin-Hood we left off on. I stared at the screen....and stared.....and then said very quietly...
"YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME"

Netflix had removed all of the Robin-Hood episodes from 20 to 42!!!! We couldn't finish the ending!!!!
Is that unreal or what?!
(Sometimes I think Netflix takes movies off the 'instant' list just to annoy their costumers. I can picture some guy at his computer: "Heheheheh...these kids have been watching these episodes for a whole month now....I think I'll crash their party!"...(clicks the delete button)..."WAAAAHAHAHA!!!!"


Goodbye Robin-Hood!....Or at least the very end of Robin hood and  half of the episodes in between... :(
















Wait...I just thought of something. I won't get to see Sir Guy's epic death! NOOO!

Amazingly Awesome

I just got to thinking last night...
I have totally amazing friends....Even if all of them don't live very close by.
They're super fun, they like me for who I am, they stand up for me, they're always their for me whenever I need them, They're true, and they're just plain awesome :)

I've known most of my friends ever since I was a little kid (probably around the age of 5 of 7 years). I've always jumped for joy whenever we're getting together for a "play date", and I always enjoy something new and exciting when we see each other...even if it just involves sitting on a bed, eating candy and laughing at the dumbest things till' our sides feel like they're being smacked with a hammer. ("Cough"....remember Charlee? Edel? Hmmmm? LOL!!).

This Wednesday is the day...the day......MY day. My 16th birthday. OMG. ("Nervous giggle")

Summer Heat

It's been SO hot lately. Definitely in the high 80's...I'm loving it! I'm not liking the bugs (gnats, mosquitoes, horse flies, assassin bugs, stink bugs, blister beetles and...yeh, you get the message.)
The weather says it's supposed to thunderstorm later though (the same for tomorrow as well). I like the Summer heat but I'll be glad for some rain.

I've been writing a lot lately. My first book (of the series I'm working on) is almost done! Probably only 6-8 more chapters to go before I end it and start the second one (book). But I'll still have to read the whole thing through to edit it...I'm always making little mistakes here and there like not adding the T to my 'the's and putting a 's even when something isn't in the possessive case ....(lol)

Gotta go eat some batter-dip squash!!! (We grew it ourselves in our garden outside:)

Sweet 16...?

My birthday is in a couple weeks. July 13th...that's me. :)
I'll be turning 16 and I got to wondering yesterday: What if I don't make the best of my sweet 16?
I only get one, and it's the biggest birthday in someone's life besides turning 21 or 100 (lol). What if I don't make it as good as it could be? What if I wake up with a headache or get a cold or something???!!! XD Or....what if I simply just don't enjoy my day as well as I should?

It's weird but I always have this thought for basically every big holiday, haha. I'm always worried about making the absolute best of Thanksgiving, a Christmas party, or New Years. Is it just me? Sometimes I feel a little stupid about this but shouldn't I always try to make the very best of things?...Or should I just go with the flow, see what happens and take what comes?
