The things I love most about Christmas probably exclude anything you would think  of to be practical. Present? Yes....but those aren't very unusual. Candy? Yes again...but you can't have those without sticky....and I hate sticky. LOL
I do enjoy all of the things that come every year with Christmas; the gifts, the candy and all that. But my favorite things are actually (and weirdly) the things you CAN'T see...
The smells..............cookies, candles, pine-trees, snowy-air.....
The feelings.............love, security, togetherness, friendship, safety, homely,....
The Beliefs............hope, trust, count-on...
and the points......................what Christmas is, why Christmas is, how Christmas is....etc ;)...
These are the things I look forward to every year in December.

I can hardly believe another Christmas has arrived. I still remember the Christmas that came 10 years ago!
Christmas, to me, is kinda' like a best friend. It always comes back, you can always count on it, and it makes you feel....idk.....good.
(But, all best friends do have there downsides, none-the-less. The sticky.......................Oh! The sticky!!!! LOL)

Tomorrow......tomorrow comes the singing....the FOOD...the presents...the family-friendly-ness...the smells....the wrapping paper....the love, the hugs, the warmth.....IT ALL COMES TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas Things

There are so many things about Christmas that I have come to love during my past 16 years of living.
It's funny..........Christmas is still just as exciting, nerve wracking, and magical for me as it was 11 years ago!
The stockings stuffed with goodies in the morning.....the glimmering rapping paper enclosing dozens of little boxes under the tree.......red and green candles shimmering in the dark at 5 AM.........Rudolph's nose glowing outside my window.......Slay bells jingling through the sky......who says there's no Santa???!!!!
Clause and I have been great friends ever since I was, like....2 years old! What law says I have to stop believing in him now????!!!!!!

IDK.......it just seems like as folks get older, they mechanically loose some of that special magic that kids all over the world seem to cherish more than they do toys and candy-canes....

I still can't sleep on Christm,as Eve night! lol
The suspense just kills me! ...........And not just because I know I'm going to get awesome lil' presents the next day (lol)  but because.....well....IDK.....just because Christmas is coming I guess.

The simple fact of the 25th keeps me far, far away from dreaming of sugar plums and fairies.
I'll stay awake all night and then finally close my eyes at 4-5 in the morning.....(which is usually the annual time of Christmas Eve when all of the kids come running upstairs and bang on my door yelling : "WAKE UP, WA-WA! ITS CIS-MAS!!!" ...........lol)

Christmas is just so special.
I think too many people take that for granted....like its just another Holiday.
But there's something about it....something that makes it feel even more special than any other Holiday of the year.......

Dentist Tomorrow...

HELP.

I have a Dentist appointment at 8AM tomorrow.
I hate someone touching (much less scraping, grinding, picking, rubbing, and brushing) my teeth.
Yes I love strawberry toothpaste, to be true, but the rest of the place just gives me chills.
The brushes.......the picky-thingies.............the sucky-tubes/squirter-thingies.............the crinkly chair-paper...................................the bright light beaming down into my poor little defenseless pupils............................
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!! eeewy eeewy eeewwy eeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww.............y.

Doctors are my friends.....but dentists?......Sometimes I can just see there mocking smiles underneath  those cheapy little white masks.
Does anybody else out there despise getting there teeth done???
Give me some comfort here, people. Show me some pity.

The light of a Christmas tree

In the corner of a lonely room it stands,

Its glimmering essence all a-glow,

So simple and so plainly seen

its face it boldly shows

Its inner lights sparkling bright,

Like diamonds in a sea of green,

Their tiny bodies scattered and shining

a fire we cannot smother

glassy balls of red and green,

shimmering in the soft bright light,

turning and twisting, their ribbons firmly planted,

like grappling hooks on a mountain of pine

why do you stand so, Christmas tree?

why so still, yet moving?

so calming in the shadows of night

we look to you for joy

reassurance pouring from your warm glow,

your thousands of sparkling diamonds dancing,

all joining together in one perfect shine

a heavenly crystal you are

a strong cracked base decorated with the marks of time,
